Video: Subdued mood at CES

Technology takes center stage the the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas despite a gloomy economy. Manufacturers went smaller, not just in their presentation but also in their product. Gone were the 150-inch TVs and instead, smaller and sleeker took center stage. Samsung grabbed notice with its one-inch thick TVs that use light-emitting-diodes (LEDs) rather than lamps as their primary light source. It's been estimated that such screens use 40 percent less power than traditional LCDs . . . not to mention saving a whole lot of space in the living room. Lindsay Claiborne reports.

Video: Yahoo unveils TV plan

Yahoo Connected TV got a boost of publicity at CES 2009 as Yahoo unveiled a list of HDTV partners. Yahoo is hoping that despite the tough economy, consumers will connect with its new WebTV venture. The company unveiled new partners including Sony, LG Electronics and Samsung Electronics at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Nevada. Bobbi Rebell reports.
